Datos de Wikipedia sobre la canción: «Whiplash» es el primer single del primer disco de Metallica, Kill'em All, editado en 1983. La canción ha sido versionada por varios artistas, entre otros por Motorhead, quien ganó un premio Grammy gracias a ella, o Pantera tocando la canción en vivo, invitando a Jason Newsted para su interpretación. 

Personalmente creo que la versión original de 1983 es la mejor.

Más de Wikipedia: La letra de la canción trata del sentimiento mientras uno está en un concierto de heavy metal, lo que en inglés se llama headbanging, mover la cabeza sin parar durante conciertos de este estilo. La palabra inglesa «Whiplash» en castellano significa latigazo.
